Our Story · Comfort, Texas

Built in Comfort,
raised everywhere.

For decades, Lindner Feed and Milling Company has crafted feed in the Texas Hill Country. Lindner Equine is the next chapter — a premium line built specifically for horses, formulated and bagged with the same uncompromising standard.

Comfort, Texas, sits at the edge of the Hill Country — a place where ranching is not a lifestyle choice, it's the language people speak. It's the right place to make horse feed. Not because of nostalgia, but because the people here have spent generations watching what works and what doesn't, and they're not interested in either marketing or shortcuts.

Lindner Feed and Milling Company has operated in Comfort for years, supplying livestock feed across Texas and beyond. With Lindner Equine, we drew a line around horses specifically — animals whose nutrition demands aren't general, aren't approximate, and absolutely aren't a place to compromise.

We built two formulas. One standard. No shortcuts in either.

Lindner Equine isn't sold direct. It's stocked at the feed stores, co-ops, and ranch supply retailers we trust — the ones who know their customers, who walk the aisles with them, and who'd rather sell the right bag than just any bag. That partnership is the whole point.

If you're carrying our feed home from one of those stores, you're part of how this works. Thank you.

What We Stand For

Three things we won't move on.

Real nutrition.

Balanced amino acids. High-quality fat. Chelated, bioavailable mineral packages. We formulate for what horses actually need, not what's cheapest to put in a bag.

Real safety.

Manufactured in compliance with FSMA, cGMPs, SOPs, and a documented HACCP plan. The mill is audited and inspected — and the documentation is available on request.

Real partnership.

We don't sell direct to consumers. Lindner Equine reaches your barn through dealers we hand-select — local feed stores who know their horses and stand behind what they stock.

The Mill

Milled in Comfort, Texas — every single bag.

Every pellet of Lindner Equine starts in our mill in Comfort, TX. We control the inputs, the formulation, the milling, and the bagging. There is no offshore co-pack, no rebranded contract product, no mystery upstream of your bag.

That control is how we promise consistency. Pelleted texture means every bite delivers the same complete formula — there's no top-dressing, no ingredient separation, no guesswork.
